Graham has 37 years’ experience of working with clients across a diverse range of small and medium sized businesses including agriculture, building, restaurants and the holiday industry. He especially likes assisting his business clients with planning for their future development. He also has an extensive portfolio of individual taxation clients to which he offers a comprehensive range of services taking a special interest in Inheritance Tax planning.
After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant Graham spent 3 years working for Deloitte and Co as an audit manager in their London office and is now responsible for our audit assurance requirements.
His interests outside of work are travel and most sports.
Born in Tintagel, Mike trained with a firm of Chartered Accountants in Launceston qualifying as a Chartered Accountant. He became a partner of Eastoe, Vincent and Day with Mr Vincent in 1979. Mike has a large portfolio of agricultural and mixed business clients, offering advice on business start-ups and tax planning for a diverse range of businesses. Mike also undertakes the audit of various incorporated organisations.
Mike is married with 3 children and 8 grandchildren. Mike enjoys walking, sport, gardening and family time.
Rachel joined Deacon Jewell in 2004 and became AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) qualified in 2007. She has passed 4 modules towards her ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) qualification.
Rachel is very experienced in dealing with accounts preparation and taxation for a range of clients and is the resident office ‘expert’ in respect of Sage software.
Rachel enjoys the great outdoors particularly walking with her husband in Cornwall and Wales. She also likes music and films.
Trevor joined Deacon Jewell in 1984 and has considerable experience in dealing with clients’ VAT matters including preparation of returns and offering technical advice on VAT. Trevor has many years’ experience in the preparation of clients’ accounts. He also assists in offering PAYE services.
As well as being a member of a local quiz team he also enjoys completing crosswords and listening to music.
Carol has over 10 years experience providing payroll services to small and medium sized businesses. With a solid understanding of PAYE and National Insurance requirements and the various rules and regulations for payments of statutory maternity / paternity and sick pay Carol is well equipped to operate your payroll, deal with staff queries and liaise with HM Revenue and Customs on your behalf.
